Lovejoy students and teachers strive
to create meaningful learning experiences in the Arts through comprehensive K-12 instruction.
Students in our three (3) elementary schools are immersed in the visual arts as well as elementary music to promote awareness and to build needed skills as a stepping-stone to secondary Arts instruction. Students at Sloan Creek Middle School are involved in Band, Choir, Orchestra, Theater, and Visual Arts. These students are engaged in meaningful performance experiences as well as sequenced individualized instruction.
At Lovejoy High School, students perform at high levels of visual arts, a comprehensive theater and musical program, orchestra, marching and concert band, and dance ensembles. The Lovejoy Graduate profile includes the components of being intellectually equipped and well rounded.
There is no finer example of students portraying these values than those involved in the Lovejoy ISD Fine Arts programs.
