Description
Art Fest on the Green sponsored by Watters Creek in partnership with the Allen Arts Alliance is set to return this Friday, May 7 through Sunday, May 9.
Highlights of the festival include tented artists booths lining Village Green Drive, which feature gallery-quality work from local artists displaying and selling a variety of styles and mediums, including paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, glass, clay, metal, digital art, mixed media and other works of art. The festival also includes interactive children's art activities, face painting, and live entertainment.
Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
Aspiring artists of all ages can win cash awards for their creations in the Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest to be held on Saturday, May 8th during the Arts Festival. Artists may register beginning at 10:00 am. Judging will take place at 2:00pm.
Duck Derby
The Allen High Noon Lions Club is holding their 2010 Duck Derby during the Watters Creek Fine Arts Festival, Sunday, May 9 at 2 p.m.
